Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and Kendra has the sweetest idea using our Vintage Tickets and a little metal tin! She also has designed a beautiful card featuring our I Love You Because stamp set. Here’s Kendra sharing with us some yummy details!

“Hello stamping friends!  Kendra here to share some fun inspiration using some of the lovely new stamp sets!!  I have both a card and a altered tin to share with you!

First up, my altered tin!  I am so excited to share this with you!  I had such a fun time creating this for my kids:

Isn’t this new Tickets set fun?

The die cut behind the tickets is the lovely Fancy Labels 2 Die!  And I used some of the awesome new paper from the 6×6 Lilac Paper pad!  It is so beautiful!

I added some Princess Crochet Trim around the tin!  Which I think adds such a lovely touch!

I also love the large Rosewood Satin Ribbon bow on the top!

When I seen the new Tickets set I knew exactly what I wanted to create!

I have always wanted to create tickets for the kids with fun incentives/things for us to do for when we find ourselves in a rut of not knowing what to do!  Which sometimes happens now during the winter months here in WI!  The “Keep This Coupon” stamp in the set is perfect!

Inside the tin you will find a ton of the “Keep This Coupon” tickets!  I used the lovely cut file Joanna supplies with her stamps, to cut out about 50 of them!  Each time I stamped the ticket I masked the word “cuddle” so that I could write in my own incentive for the kids!

Here’s a look at just a few of them:

They’re going to love it!!

I also have a card to share with you using the new I Love You Because set!

I started by stamping just the “I Love You” a few times to create the front panel.

Inside I then stamped the “Because” and one of the additional sentiments in the set:

In our house we use the phrase “I Love You More” a lot so I also added that sentiment to the inside of my card, which is from the Big Wishes II set!  And the stamped heart is from the Hearts set!

Have a lovely day!

I’m back today sharing a little box that I decorated and a coordinating birthday card using our Vintage Floral Kit. I have been in need of a little box to put on my side table next to my bed for my rings, etc. and thought a little decorated box would be just perfect.

Inspired by Stamping Vintage Floral Paper Pad

I started out using some decoupage glue to glue my Vintage Floral paper to the chipboard box . After gluing my paper onto the top and sides I then started to decorate my box. For the trim, I used the crochet trim from this set and glued it around the top edges. I then cut a little piece of polka dot paper and distressed the edges. A triple bow, IBS flowers and two little brass keys were added to the top of my box.

This little brass frame was glued to the front of the box. I then added two little pearls where the holes are suppose to be. The cardboard that I used did not allow for paper piercing so I used some super glue. My sentiment is from the Little Phrases II stamp set.

Although I plan on keeping the box, I thought a coordinating card would look beautiful together. Again, I used items from our new Vintage Floral kit and the Spring Lilacs stamp set.

After stamping my sentiment from the Spring Lilacs stamp set, I cut it out with some nesting dies. I then added pearls, crochet trim and flowers to decorate the card.

We hope that you have a wonderful crafty weekend! We will be back on Monday for a new week filled with IBS inspiration! Many thanks to our talented designer Kendra for the beautiful work she created today!

Have a great weekend!
