Everybody uses sticky notes for quick to-do’s and lists and I was looking at mine thinking it would look so pretty with if I dazzled it up a bit. So today I am sharing with you how to create a quick and easy sticky note holder.
After creating this one, I wish that I made these for the teachers this year. What a great idea and they are super quick to make. I bought the template for these at the Silhouette store. No more fussy cutting! I first cut out the base and then used some Prima paper for my layering which was also cut with the Silhouette.
All Year Wishes stamp set was used for the sentiment, “just a note”. I then cut out my layers using our Fancy Labels 2 Die. I then distressed each piece of paper and popped them up on foam dimensionals. I also used some Scallop Border Crochet Trim and IBS flowers for a little more shabby chic style.
Here’s the inside of the sticky note. I used some tacky glue on the bottom of my sticky note so that it doesn’t move around. I also cut a little strip of Velcro and attached it to the bottom of the front cover. It lays on the other side of my button and keeps my sticky note holder closed when I don’t need it.
Here is a photo of the holder all opened up on the outside. It was so simple to make. Just cut it out with the Silhouette and decorate! Easy peesy!
We hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration! A special thank you to Kendra for creating such lovely boxes today on our blog. We also want to thank you for joining us today! Have a fantastic day!
