Happy Friday and welcome to another fun day of inspiration here at Inspired by Stamping! Today, we are bringing you some beautiful artwork from two of our talented designers, Leah and Irit! We’ve got a beautiful card and some dazzling jewelry ideas today!
First, we wanted to share with you a beautiful card by Mynnette Kitchen. She recently uploaded this beautiful card to our Facebook Page! We just love this adorable peach card and knew you’d love it too! We encourage you all to check out our Inspired by Stamping Facebook page filled with fun and fabulous inspiration! Don’t forget to share your IBS cards with us, too!
We begin today a breathtaking jewelry piece and fun kids puzzle by Irit. She used our Elegant Christmas Sentiments and December 25th Labels to create these fabulously festive accessories. You can do so much with Inspired by Stamping stamps and staples! Irit continues to wow us with her thinking outside the box when it comes to papercrafting! Here is Irit sharing some fun tips on how they were made!
“This is my new altered jewelry piece in Mixed Media style. As you can see the whole chain is a mix of jewelry findings and stamped with Inspired by Stamping snowflake image charms from Elegant Christmas Sentiments set.
I stamped the snowflakes with blue pigmented ink, heat embossed it with clear embossing powder and then covered with a clear plastic bubble as it’s a true wearable piece of craft.
The beaded rectangle is my own crystal beading (never again as it was hard ad long crafty experience) and the whole piece is a lovely wintery gift.
This is a really easy, 10 minutes to make, altered kids toy piece made with one single and most gorgeous IBS winter stamp from December 25TH set. I am really sorry that I didn’t take a ” before” photo, but is was a Smily round image over this moving parts 10 cents plastic puzzle. Lucky, the smily face size was just the perfect match to this lovely stamp , that was stamped with dark blue ink over a simple white cardstock and then heat embossed with clear embossing ink. The circle was hand cut with craft knife over the original lines and then covered with a thin layer of glossy medium to make it durable for kids play. The outer frame was covered with clear glitter for this fine wintery look.
This is a perfect piece for a ” mass production” of gifts: cheap, one stamped image only and makes an easy and lovely gift. ~ Irit”
Up next is a precious baby card created by Leah. Baby cards are always such a pleasure to create when thinking of that precious little bundle of love. This is the perfect card to celebrate the joy of a newborn. Here is what Leah had to say about it.
“Hello! Leah here and today I have a sweet baby card to share with you using some fabulous Inspired By Stamping products. My favorite type of baby cards to make are girly, pastel and full of little details that make it extra special.
I started by wanting to create a quilt type feel for my pattern paper so I pulled out one of my favorite sets, Octagons. I started by stamping the open background strip in a light tan color and then had fun filling in each octagon with all the lovely patterns in the set creating my pastel quilt. This set is so easy to line up too!
After my background was done I didn’t want to completely cover it up, so I did a bit of layering with a scalloped border, doily, heart, wings and some flowers (the rose bud is an IBS mini rose buds) and leaves. I wanted my sentiment to stand out so I pulled out Big Congrats. Isn’t that font wonderful?! And it has many special occasion sentiments to make your congratulations more specific. To finish I used some flat backed pearls as well as lots of liquid pearls and a strip of scor tape that I glittered. I hope you enjoyed my card and have a blessed day! ~ Leah”
We hope you enjoyed today’s card, jewelry piece and kids puzzle! We will be back on Monday with the Blog Candy winner and a new week of dazzling inspirations! We want to thank Leah and Irit for their fantastic creations today! We also want to thank all of you for joining us. Have a beautiful day.
