It’s Whoo Hoo Wednesday!!

Painters’ Tape Tutorial
1
I’m so excited to share this fun technique with you!!

We have a lot of painter’s tape lying around the house, as this past spring my kids and I found an article in a magazine using the tape to create roads on the floor for driving all those Hotwheel cars around my little guy owns!

So I was super excited when I seen this Painter’s tape technique on Pinterest!
I just had to try it and share with all you lovely followers!!

Start by tearing a few pieces of painters tape to the length you would like

2
Next place the painters tape on the ink pad you are using, sticky side down on ink pad.  Press your fingers across the piece of tape gently to ink it up.
3
The tape will look something like this:

You are then ready to “stamp” the tape on your paper.
(In this case, I just did a scrap piece of paper)
5
How cool!!
Now for the card’s I created, not all my ink pads were large enough for me to place the tape right on them so instead I placed the tape sticky side up and then took the ink pad and dabbed the tape a few times to get ink on the tape!

A look at the process:

I decided to choice a few different colors for my cards.

A fun little twist…
You know when using tape we are always so careful, so that it doesn’t get stuck together?

Well have some fun, crunch up the tape a little bit and pull it back apart.  It gives a different added texture!

Now a look at my two cards:

Now it’s your turn, can’t wait to see the projects you create with this technique in mind!
It is so fun!  I could have create a ton of cards!!Have a wonderful day!Kendra
