Happy Friday my dear friends. What a week it has been. I’ve been working on our website all week. Take a peek and let me know what you think?

Scroll down to see my new and improved crafty space. I had a big clean up over the weekend and on Monday. I still have a few more boxes to buy. I also just received some shabby chic fabric to make a valance on the window. I am so excited about it!

Inspired by stamping Chalkboard Birthday and Whimsical Banners stamp set

I love our Chalkboard Birthday stamp set from our last release. After stamping my images with white craft ink, I then sprinkled white embossing powder over the top. I then created this frame using a white pigment ink pen. The effect is so pretty with the bold white on black cardstock.

Whimsical Banners stamp set created these cute flags at the top corner of my card.

I also attached a Whimsical Banner under my White seam binding bow.

I hope you have enjoyed today’s card.

Here’s my new crafty space. My hubby challenged me to see if I could clear off my desk. What a difference it has made. I use my Grandmother’s old dining room table that I grew up with. I brought it all the way from the US to Australia. The shelves are all custom made by my FIL to fit my 12×12 containers and paper, too.

I went and bought all new containers and boxes and have sorted everything out. I love that you don’t see the mess anymore. And each one is labeled so it is easy to find. I have sat here everyday this week. Before I dreaded having to come in here (which I called the dungeon) but now it is starting to come together.

I hope you have enjoyed my little crafty space. Thanks so much for stopping by. 🙂

Have a wonderful weekend!

Firstly Joanna love your birthday cards, this stamp set works wonderfully with the blackboard technique, there’s so many possibilities with this set. AND secondly your crafting space is wonderful – it’s a real lift when you’re all organised and know where everything is … so let’s see it get messed up now with some of your inspiring work…love the flowers and lamp on your grans table very personal. Cheers happy stamping

OK, I already loved the new and improved craft room, but to find out your FIL made those dynamite shelves? I remember him making your nifty bowmaker too, inspiring me to make my own. Does he rent his services out? 🙂 How awesome of him to do that for you! Thanks for sharing and inspiring me to go clean up MY “dungeon” (and it really feels like it, too). The card is precious as well!!
