Christmas Medallions

What You Will Need

Cardstock or patterned paper

Border punches (I have used)

Martha Stewart Deep Edge Punch – Garden Trellis

Marta Stewart Edge Punch – Arch Lattice

Martha Stewart Edge Punch – Daisy

Festive Frames

Vintage Postcard Add ons

Tools used

Scoreboard

Manual die cut machine

Die cuts (I have used Spellbinders – Persian Motifs, Persian Accents, Classic Circle

Liquid glue / hot glue gun

Foam tape

Double sided sticky tape

Inkpads

Step One:

Cut 4 strips of cardstock/paper 3” x 12”

Step Two:

Choose your border punch and punch a border along both sides of the 12” length of the strip

Step Three:

Score at approximately 1” intervals – this may vary depending on the border punch you use, just make sure each interval is of equal size

Step Four:

Crease the score marks so you have a mountain/valley folded strip – repeat for all 4 strips

Step Five:

Using glue or double sided tape attach all 4 strips together

Step Six

Cut out a 3” circle and apply liquid glue/hot glue gun glue to it

Gently push the circle/medallion into the centre of itself

Attach to 3” circle and hold until the glue has set

Step Seven

Embellish the medallion with die cuts, stamped sentiments/images, ribbons, bling, flowers
