‘Mason Jar Shaker Card’ by: Debbie Marcinkiewicz

Simple Treasures

Today I’m excited to share with you all how to make a bright and cheery shaker card!

Begin by stamping the jar image from the Mason Jar set twice.

After cutting, die cut a shape out of the middle of one of the jar images – here I used an oval die.

On one of the images, adhere a piece of clear acetate to cover the die cut opening. On the second image, adhere thin strips of double sided foam tape. Be sure that your strips are thin enough so that they won’t show through the clear acetate. I trimmed mine by hand with scissors. I also stacked my layers double so I’d have enough height to allow the shaker contents to move about freely.

Add your ‘shaker filling’ to the image with the foam tape. Here I used candy sprinkles! Peel away the protective backing from the top layer of foam tape and adhere the clear acetate image down on top to secure the shaker filling.

Have FUN decorating as desired. Here I added another couple of images from the Mason Jar stamp set along with a sentiment from the Mason Jar Add On set!

The addition of a strip of Inspired by Stamping polka dotted washi tape and a snippet of lace trim completes this bright, cheery and FUN card!!

I hope you enjoyed my ‘Mason Jar Shaker Card’ tutorial! I can’t wait to see what you’ll create!
