I will announce the winner Sunday! But here is the catch….if we get over 50 comments, I will announce a second winner! Over 100, I will announce a third winner! And so forth! Whoo Hoo!

Let’s get started with a couple of peeks! Beware…this post is picture happy and long!!!

My first card today showcases the new Background Basics I stamp set. I have been in such a color mood lately and today I used navy blue, olive green and white.

I stamped 3 different backgrounds with navy blue ink and then punched each out using an SU! square punch and adhered it with dimensionals.  I then grabbed the Birthday Wishes set for this cute “Celebrate” sentiment! To add interest, I rounded all the corners at the bottom of my card. I then tied a quick bow and added three yummy flowers in off white and navy blue from the Inspired by Stamping store.

My second card features the Background Basics I and the Birthday Greetings sets.

Regal Rose, Turquoise and Sahara Sand were my colors for this CAS card. I again used the SU! square punches and then rounded all the corners. I then stamped my Happy Birthday greeting in turquoise. A simple bow, a shabby pink flower and a couple of rhinestones were added for my glam.

The Cross Stitch stamp takes center stage with this adorable card that I made for my daughter’s birthday. I just love the colors of pink, yellow, green and blue. A perfect card for my soon to be 11 year old.

Spellbinders Labels 3 die works perfectly for this cute image. I then stamped the “With Love” in green and cut out my cross stitch bird using pink ink. A simple double bow was used with some shabby green seam binding ribbon.

Ahoy, Matey!, All Year Wishes II and the NEW Elegant Flowers were used for this shabby card in coral, off white and greens.

I first stamped the background writing in Kraft ink. Next, grab some Memento black ink and stamp your rose. I quickly grabbed my heat tool to make sure the ink was set before coloring with some Copic Markers. Next, I cut out the dies using the Fleur de Lis Rectangles die and  Spellbinders Labels 10 die.  Crochet trim, a White Daisy flower, a double bow and some rhinestones dressed up this “Just Because” card.

My last card today features the Elegant Flowers and Vintage Sayings using a scallop square card.

I really enjoyed making this last card! I first stamped my floral image from Elegant flowers using the Memento Brown ink and colored then it using Copic Markers. Green leaves from the Inspired by Stamping store were used for my leaves. I cut off the stems and used glue dots to hold them in place. Next, I lined up all three sentiments on my acrylic block and stamped them in brown ink and cut the image using the Spellbinders 3 die. I tied a simple knot in my crochet trim and angled it on its side and again used my handy glue dots to adhere it to the back of my card.

I hope that you have enjoyed today’s sneak peeks!

My favorite color combo seems to change with the season, the project or just how I feel. Recently I have been using black and Ivory- gives such an elegant look. I also have starting using craft paper- new to me and like it with black or a light blue- great for masculine cards!
