Hello friends! I’ve had these two sweet cards sitting on my desk this week just looking at me. And I thought I would share them today.
Its been one month this weekend that we have been at our house. We are still camping in the little one room office with all 5 of us. At times, I have enjoyed it, having my babies close to me, listening to them play and chatter on with their toys and laughing. The laughing always warms my heart. At other times, the fighting and nitpicking is driving us crazy. Some moments, I feel like all I am doing is standing between the 3 kids refereeing. And my oldest, who will be 11, telling everyone that she needs her personal space! Dear o dear, there isn’t any! LOL 🙂
There are boxes everywhere and I truly mean everywhere. My dishes, food, shoes, toys, etc. My clothes are in laundry baskets and there are Legos everywhere on the floor. And lets not talk about the dirt and dust. But everyday, I wake up and I tell the kids we are one day closer to moving into our house. I look at what we are going through at the moment, and it is the kind of stress that I love. The things we have gone through over the last months were the most difficult and now it is the good kind of stress, the kind that I know I can handle! 🙂
My first card features the Little Flowers stamp set. I first stamped the background in different colors.
I then stamped the center image and die cut it using the Spellbinder Die. I love texture on the die cuts I first cut out the die and then grabbed the Houndstooth embossing folder. This gave a great texture which I then added some glam and ribbon.
My second card features the Vintage Postcard stamp set. I used Navy Blue, Red and cream for my colors.
Did you know that the little circle fits in a 1-1/4” punch. Perfect for quick punching and layering!
I hope you enjoyed my cards today! Have a great weekend! Guess what?? I will be back with sneak peeks on Sunday! Whoo Hoo! I LOVE this time of the month! Stay tune for great blog candy, gorgeous designs from the DT and of course free shipping!
