Happy  Wednesday! I am so excited to share with you my easel card and tutorial. I little Whoo Hoo Wednesday tutorial to get the creative mojo flowing. Right now, I wish that I didn’t pack my tripod. I don’t know which box I put it in and so I took some photos instead. I hope you enjoy it nonetheless.

Today’s card is dedicated to a very special friend that just had surgery. I will be posting this in the mail today for her and a little something.

Stay tune, I will be posting the winners of the IBSIC challenge later on. Also on Thursday, I will be sharing my first ever sketch on the Challenge.  It will be lots of fun! Hope you can join us!

Using the Scallop Bigz Sizzix Die, I cut out 1 scallop circle and one scallop circle card.

Next, open the card and place on your scoring mat. Score at the halfway point (middle) of the front of the card. Then fold in half towards the inside of the card.

Adhere the other scallop circle onto the card with glue or adhesive.

To keep the card standing upright, I placed a few pearls along the base of the card and then decorated it.

I used the Fancy Labels 3 and Little Phrases stamp sets for my center piece. I hand dyed my pink satin ribbon and than added a white and pink gardenia.

STAMPS: Fancy Labels 3, Little Phrases

PAPER: Kraft Paper, White Paper, My Mind’s Eye Scrap Paper

AWESOME TOOLS: Fancy Labels 3

A TOUCH OF GLAM: Pink Satin Ribbon, Pearls, White and Pink Gardenia

Every little touch that you add to a card is so sweet. I think that you could even make a bow from a shoestring & it would look glamorous !
