Hello everyone! Welcome to my Shabby Tea Room post! Scroll down for the yummy inspiration photo. The lovely ladies for this new challenge are asking that each one of you create a card or project featuring cherries.

For my card, I first started with Heartfelt Gratitude and Fancy Labels 18 stamped in kraft and light blue ink. I then used a Spellbinder 18 die to cut out my label.

A double white seam binding bow was added to the corner of the frame and three little flowers. (One is a sneak peak for next month Smile)

As I don’t have any cherries stamp sets, I had to go outside the box for my cherries. I added two red buttons tied with hemp twine for the cherries. I then cut out the stems and leaves and crumpled them up to give it a more distressed look. To cover up where the leaves join together, I added a simple hemp bow.

For my finishing touches, I added some white pearls and sewed some crochet trim on both sides of my card stock.

STAMPS: Heartfelt Gratitude, Fancy Frames 18

PAPER: Odds & Ends Cosmo Cricket

AWESOME TOOLS: Spellbinders Label 18

A TOUCH OF GLAM: White Seam Binding Ribbon, Red Buttons, Hemp Twine, Red Flowers, Mixed Flower Package, Pearls

    Hi Joanna~
It was so creative of you to think of making the cherries this way! I really love it! The rest of the card is lovely, really! I love the flowers…are those the 1/4″? The trim is beautiful as well as the trio of papers. Of course, it wouldn’t be one of your cards…without a fabulous Inspired by Stamping stamp used!
