Hello sweet friends! Just a quick post with my Mojo Monday and The Shabby Tea Room card. My inspiration today comes from Debbie’s card from Simple Treasure. I just love how she made a heart card and wanted to give it a try. And since today is a square or circle card at Mojo Monday, I thought I’d give a heart card a try today. Smile

I used the largest Spellbinders Classic Scalloped Heart for the card base. I then layered some My Mind’s Eye Blush paper for the layering and daubed over the entire card with distress ink. The Shabby Tea room asks to incorporate a post card and  so I punched out a post card symbol from some scrap Pink Paislee paper. My sentiment comes from Sweet Valentine’s stamp set and then I added some flowers and a shabby bow.

Challenges:

STAMP SETS: SWEET VALENTINES

PAPER: MY MIND’S EYE BLUSH

AWESOME TOOLS: SPELLBINDERS CLASSIC SCALLOPED HEARTS AND RECTANGLES.

A TOUCH OF GLAM: FLOWERS, BRADS, RIBBON, CROCHET TRIM

What a romantic and loving Valentine’s card. I love the softness you have achieved with different papers and by distressing the edges. Of course the stamps in this set are delightful, Joanna! I love this set, not only for Valentine’s Day,but every day!
    Wonderful job!
