INSPIRED BY STAMPINGI have received a few questions from visitors yesterday and thought perhaps I would post my answers here about my video.

What type of thread do you use? I just use regular cotton thread. I took my color coach to the fabric store to match my thread perfectly with my card stock.

What do you do with the strings on the back of your card? Great question! When I am done sewing, I flip it over and then adhere the strings down with some double sided sticky tape. It works great and then the thread doesn't start to unravel.

Have you started making Christmas cards yet? Today, I thought I would make a Clean and Simple Christmas Card to share with you. I love quick cards with a huge punch.  I even made my own background paper for this card.

Stay tune for tomorrow, I have another Christmas card to share with you. Have a beautiful day! Thank you for dropping in and visiting me!

I made my own background paper using a series of different snowflakes. I just randomly stamped them on Vanilla paper using Baja Breeze ink. Warm Winter Wishes sentiment was cut out using Spellbinders Nesties Label 4. I then lifted it using Dimensionals.

Just a simple bow for my touches of glam and a crumb cake button with some thread. I actually used some Vanilla DMC thread today! I love the effect!

Another beauty! Love the color combo, and the bow. The sewing really adds to it, but I am afraid mine wouds be faux stiching as the sewing machine and I are NOT friends! But your card is a beauty for sure!!

Such a pretty CAS Christmas card. I love your snowflake dsp. I never seem to have much luck when I try to do that. Always over do it. Need to keep working on that. The baja breeze is such a pretty color choice.

Joanna, I was actually thinking this stamp would be great to use for thank you cards after all the holiday festivities —- beautiful card!

Beautiful card, as always…I’m already into getting Christmas cards done, too. Since I have to make so many and I work slowly, I don’t like to be under a tight deadline….seems like when I’m creating under “pressure” I can’t get my creative juices flowing. Also, since I participate in Operation Write Home, those holiday cards have to be shipped by the end of October….Anyway….lovely card today…can’t wait for tomorrow’s jewel.

Gorgeous Christmascard Joanna! Love your background and the pastel colours 🙂
I recently made 1 Christmas card for the challenge at ‘Less is More’, but that’s about it. I’m just not in the right mood yet I think 😉
