Can you believe that it is time to make Halloween cards? Wow! It is my favorite time of the year with all the lovely earth colors coming. I am a total Halloween girl! I love to dress up and we always throw a Halloween party every year! My house is decorated with all sorts of goodies I have collected or made over the years. I have started looking at a few things to make this fall. Oh I just can’t wait! πŸ™‚

So, I just had to participate in the PPA Halloween challenge. Click here to visit PPA or scroll down for the sweet Halloween photo. Isn’t she just adorable! I actually  made two cards for this challenge but this one got the vote to enter into the challenge. Tomorrow, I will show you my second card.

Thank you to all that wrote me yesterday. I really appreciate all the wonderful comments about the video. Thank you so much! It means the world to me when I hear from you.

I just got this adorable Halloween paper from My Mind’s Eye called Mischievous. I just love the touches of Blue through the patterned paper. I realized while I was about ready to sew on my card that I don’t have any oranges or black thread. I think its just an excuse to visit the craft store. Smile I punched out my Happy Halloween sentiment using an oval punch and a modern label punch.

I then punched out my witch using a 2-1/2 circle punch and layered it with a Spellbinder Lacey Circle Die.

So adorable! I love the paper also! The hint of blue is so pretty with the traditional black & orange. Love the little witch in the inspiration photo with her orange highlights.

Cute Halloween card and I like how you layered the oval and modern punches. I personally am not a huge Halloween fan. Don’t get me wrong, we participate, but I was always a scaredy cat about stuff growing up so Halloween never stuck as a favorite holiday. Still, sometimes I think about getting on board when I see all the cute stuff you SU girls make on your blogs!!!

Love the card! I also like the fact that you use a variety of products for your creations. There are so many beautiful papers and stamps out there. Only problem is, it maxes out the credit cards a lot faster!! Have a great day and thanks for sharing!

I like! Is the sentiment a stamp or did you print it off your computer? I like the font of it. Great card.
