INSPIREDBYSTAMPIN'Hello friends! How are you? It is Friday today! Yay! I am amazed that it is Friday, I feel like it was yesterday and a whole week has passed. This weekend, we don’t have any plans. Staying home enjoying the beautiful weather and hanging out with the kids. It is my favorite thing to do. Smile

A few weeks ago, I made this card for my daughter Tessa. She was going to camp for the first time and I thought she would like to have something special with her. So here is our card to her…

INSPIREDBYSTAMPIN'I used some BoBunny 6×6 paper pack with these gorgeous Orange, Blue and Craft colors in it. It is just beautiful paper and it also has little butterflies. Perfect for my youngest daughter, Lizzi, who loves them. The heart chipboard is from SU!, I then punched out the orange heart and layered it over it. The paper flowers are from Kaisercrafts which I layered about six together.

INSPIREDBYSTAMPIN'“We Love You” is the perfect sentiment for Tessa and I stamped it in Chocolate Chip. I had a hard time with my sewing machine today. I have learnt the hard way not to have sticking tape showing through on the back of your card when sewing! LOL! Oh dear, I didn’t realize it was showing through and then it adhered to the top of the sewing machine! So some of the stiches actually pulled through. I wasn’t going to show you, but I thought it was a funny story! I guess better luck next time. Smile

So pretty! I bet your daughter just loved it & took it out often to read. Always nice to feel like your family is close when you’re away at camp. The paper is so pretty. I just love the pop of orange with the heart. I bet no one but you would even notice the threads that pulled thru. At least you can laugh about what happened. Nice of you to share with us so we can remember that even you have problems with your cards at times. Since some days they really fight you when you’re trying to put them together.

Great card for your daughter – That sentiment is new to me- since there is only 1 of me! Beautiful card even with your mishap with stitching!
