JUST BELIEVE, INSPIRED BY STAMPINGHappy Thursday everyone. How has your week been? Me, I have been home alone with my three kids this week. Brad (DH) has been away on business until Saturday. So that means, I haven’t had too much time in the craft room this week. And then in the evenings, well I have been finding myself going to bed after I kiss the kids goodnight. Anyways…..

Today, I have my PPA color challenge card. I also decided to play along in the Sketchbook Saturday Challenge. Scroll down to see the gorgeous colors and sketch. This color combo was a real challenge for me because I love soft colors. Confused smile In fact, this was the first time I have used Island Indigo card stock. But that is what challenges are for…to think outside the box. LOL Smile  So I thought I would switch it up for you and bring something different. What do you think??

JUST BELIEVE, INSPIRED BY STAMPINGLet’s talk color and where to find it in my card??? I used Island Indigo with the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder. Lucky Limeade was daubed all over my Chapter One Kaiser Craft paper. My button and flower are Daffodil Delight.

JUST BELIEVE, INSPIRED BY STAMPINGJust Believe stamp set was used for my sentiment. To make my bow, I used white organza ribbon and then added the yellow daisy with a button.

JUST BELIEVE, INSPIRED BY STAMPINGI found this great crochet lace at the fabric store. For my embellishments, I added some gorgeous pearls of all sizes.

I love your card today. I know it was out of your comfort zone, but you were able to make it all work for you. And you’re right, that is exactly what the challenges are for. I really like the touches of crochet lace, organza ribbon & of course the pearls. LOVE the pearls!
