YOU'RE A GEM, FLIRTATIOUS SPECIALTY DSP, INSPIREDBYSTAMPIN'

Hello friends! I hope you have had a very long and relaxing holiday weekend. Smile

Last week, a reader asked me how long does it take to make one card? It takes me an hour to create one card and three hours to get it up on my blog as a post. When I sit down to create, I usually have a general idea of what I am going to make. I will see a photo of flowers, a dress at the store or a picture in a catalog and all I see is a gorgeous card or a color combination that I’ve never used! Everything inspires me. And then I will sit down and grab my color coach. From there, I start creating. After my card, I then take photos. I can not tell you how many times I change my card after I took a photo. Taking photos and editing takes an hour. And then I have to sit down and write about my card. Which at times is for me the hardest part, do I write more or less, be more personal or more business like. So one card from start to finish or should I say one post takes me about three hours. And I will say in all honesty, I absolutely love every minute of it!!!

Your comments mean so much to me! I look forward to hearing your thoughts on today’s card! Thank you for visiting me today! Keep Smiling.

Whisper White and Crumb Cake were used again today with Flirtatious Specialty Designer Series Paper. A new discovery for me today is using pearls and jewels together for my glam. Smile

I punched my heart using the Heart Punch and used a heart from retired Mix & Match On Board. “You’re a gem” sentiment can be found in the You’re a Gem stamp set. I then punched it out using the small oval punch and Modern Label punch. I love these little Pink Simply Adorned Baubles! They are so gorgeous and sparkle beautifully! The New Lace Ribbon Punch created my border. I flipped the punch so that I could line up my card stock and only punched half.

Joanna, Love this card–The baubles are such a nice touch –Okay I’m sure I will not be the only one with these questions –What type of light source do you use when taking photos , what type of camera and what editing program ? Also I think your posts are very endearing and your personality shines through -My vote is not for you to get “business like ” in your posts -you do enough serious work behind the scenes:-)
