INSPIRED BY STAMPIN'

Hello blog friends! I have today’s Mojo Monday sketch and The Shabby Tea Room challenge for you! The Shabby Tea Room is asking us to create a card using your favorite things. Well this would be it for me! My favorite things are…anything whimsy, shabby, vintage and feminine. I love stitching on my cards, soft colors, beautiful font, big gorgeous flowers and a square card for lots of room for all my embellishments. So today’s card is honestly everything that I love. Smile

Leave me a comment today, telling me what you love! I can’t wait to read what you love! Have a beautiful day! Hugs to you all!!!

My two favorite colors together are Whisper White and Crumb Cake, they seem to coordinate with any color you use for your card! I love the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder. I then added some distress ink to the edges of my cardstock. My sewing machine is my new favorite thing! I love stitching on a card!

My flower today was created with two Stampin’ Up! dies called Fun Flowers Bigz L and Blossom Party Original Die. After running the card stock through the big shot, I daubed the edges with Pink Pirouette ink and crumbled the paper up very small. I then layered them and brought the flower petals upwards. Two pear pizzazz leaves were punched out using the Blossom Petals punch.

I used some White Organza ribbon for my bow. I used the bow technique video  with many layers of organza ribbon for a perfect bow. I then tied it with a piece of thread and attached the button to the center of the bow.

Gorgeous!! luv the flower – the stitching is becoming more popular – I need to give that technique at try. I’m also luvin your addition of the Nestabilities – I’ve picked up a few on clearance and will use you as inspiration to incorporate into my cards.
Thanks for your beautiful works of art!

One of the things I enjoy so much about your cards are the soft colors in the papers that you have been using….so feminine. Your layouts are great and the FLOWERS….always such a nice addition to finish off the presentation.

Okay….Because of you, I’ve gotten out my sewing machine, bought Nestabilities, have to have Waltzing Mouse, make square cards, create more beautiful bows & have brought out my feminine side with layers of sweet pastels & MORE glam. Pretty much changed my style 🙂 I’d say that I’ve been inspired by stampin’… and lovin’ it!
