HELLO BLOSSOMS, WALTZINGMOUSE VINTAGE LABELS 5, INSPIREDBYSTAMPIN'

Happy Friday my blog friends! As I write this on Thursday, I look at the SU! box still on the floor and wish I could have a play with my new things. Does it count that I have looked at each item and admired it?? But, I only stamped one day this week for my PPA challenge and today I have yet again posted a card that I made last week. Hope you don’t mind. I did use the Summer mini Hello stamp…

Hope everyone has a beautiful weekend. Today, I will be decorating, cleaning and putting the final touches together for my birthday girl. Thank you for stopping by! Keep smiling!

Whisper White, Crumb Cake and Concord Crush with touches of Delightful Yellow and Pear Pizzazz were my color choices. I embossed the top part of my card using the Vintage Wallpaper and then using the brayer technique with Crumb Cake. Two gorgeous butterflies with touches of Delightful Delight was daubed on the edges. I then used Rhinestone jewels to add some glam.

I colored my Hello stamp using Daffodil Delight and Pear Pizzazz markers. Retired organza ribbon added some whimsy. I tied a piece of string around the ribbon today and added a button to the top. I have no idea why I didn’t add a jewel to it also. Did it fall off somewhere on the way for the photos???

Such a beautiful card. Just love the color combination. I really like your style and have many of your cards on Splitcoast under my favorites. Just one question for you: I’m new to stamping and I’m not familiar with the brayer technique. I have that same embossing folder & would love to try it on my cards. Is it a difficult technique?

I really like this card. I love the spellbinder label you used for the background of the Hello stamp. It is just perfect. Even though I understand your desire to use your new products, I believe you have your priorities straight. Family must come first.
