FAST & FABULOUS, FABULOUS FLORETS, INSPIRED BY STAMPIN'Happy Thursday! Today, I just love the Pals Paper Arts Sketch Challenge! Scroll down to view the gorgeous sketch by Margaret Moody. I made my first card on the right with the purples and greens but just wasn’t really happy with it. I thought the writing in the background was too overpowering. So I headed back to my craft room and changed up the colors using Regal Rose and Tempting Turquoise. So what do you think? Which card do you like better?

FAST & FABULOUS, FABULOUS FLORETS, INSPIRED BY STAMPIN'

Have a wonderful Thursday!

FAST & FABULOUS, FABULOUS FLORETS, INSPIRED BY STAMPIN'

I used Perfect Plum, Wild Wasabi and Very Vanilla as my color choices for this card. I used up the remaining background paper from the Easter Blossoms stamp set from the April Blog Hop. My script is from the retired French Script Stamp Set. I ran the Wild Wasabi card stock through the Big Shot using Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder and then punched out my scallop edges.

FAST & FABULOUS, FABULOUS FLORETS, INSPIRED BY STAMPIN'“Happiness Always” sentiment can be found in the Happy Greetings Stamp Set. I colored my flowers using SU! Markers on the Fast & Fabulous Hostess Level 2 Stamp Set. I then added Pearl Jewels to the center of each flower.

FAST & FABULOUS, FABULOUS FLORETS, INSPIRED BY STAMPIN'My second card, I chose to use Tempting Turquoise, Regal Rose and Sahara Sand. I again used the retired French Script Stamp set but this time used Sahara Sand Ink for a lighter background. “Birthday Wishes” sentiment comes from the Bring on the Cake stamp set.

FAST & FABULOUS, FABULOUS FLORETS, INSPIRED BY STAMPIN'I used the new Fabulous Florets stamp set on this card. I couldn’t believe how both Stamp Sets are so similar. I then used the Regal Rose & Tempting Turquoise Markers to color the stamp images. On the center of each flower, I added one Pearl Jewel.

I cannot decide which card I like more; both of them are great and the color combos are great. I especially took notice of the four layers to make up one embellishment (1 pearl on 1 flower brad on 1 button all on 1 bow/ribbon). Great idea to give that unique touch to each of these cards!

I love them both! Purple and green are my niece’s favorite colors. She is going through kemo so I try to frequently send her a card using her favorite colors. I love your blog and always find some inspiration.

Both are beautiful. I like the one using Perfect Plum & Wild Wasabi. Have a great day Joanna!
