ON YOUR BIRTHDAY, YOU'RE A GEM, BABY BLOSSOMS, SPRINGTIME VINTAGE DSP, VANILLA ROSETTES, INSPIRED BY STAMPIN'

Hello everyone! Happy Friday! Today, I have two cards to show you. They have the same basic lay out with two different sentiments and stamp sets. Please leave me a comment and let me know which one you like the best! I love hearing from you! Have a great day!

ON YOUR BIRTHDAY, YOU'RE A GEM, BABY BLOSSOMS, SPRINGTIME VINTAGE DSP, VANILLA ROSETTES, INSPIRED BY STAMPIN'

Inspired by Stampin’ Tips:

  • ON YOUR BIRTHDAY, YOU'RE A GEM, BABY BLOSSOMS, SPRINGTIME VINTAGE DSP, VANILLA ROSETTES, INSPIRED BY STAMPIN'Gorgeous colors today are in store with these two cards. They are Marina Mist, Old Olive, Pear Pizzazz and Very Vanilla.
  • I just love the stripes in the Springtime Vintage Designer Series Paper. I took a 1” strip and added it under the Scallop Edge Border for a cottage garden feel.
  • Happy Birthday sentiment can be found in the On Your Birthday Stamp Set in Card #1.
  • My Card #2 features stamps from You’re a Gem and Baby Blossoms Stamp sets.
  • My old olive leaves were punched using the two step bird punch. I just love these rosettes and had to add a rhinestone to each flower for some extra glam!

Thanks everyone! I really enjoy reading which one you preferred! I couldn’t decide which one either so I thought it would be fun to see what you all think! Thank you for your lovely comments! Hugs, Joanna

  2. Babe O'Mara says:

First of all, they are both really well done, but I like the first one a little bit more. It does seem more balanced. I love how you offset the striped paper. Really nice job. The owl is a cute touch too.
    Babe

  3. Sandra Conner says:

I think that I like the first one, and with the owl peeking over the “fence” it is a cute touch. Very neat idea, I will usually have my DH and DD come and help me decide which looks best, but this forum is great for that!

  4. Debbie Reaves says:

I love them both but if you make me choose I would pick the first one.. the birthday card. It’s just peaceful or something. But… both of them are fantastic!
    Have a great day,
    Debbie

  5. Patricia Willey says:

oooo tough! I’m voting for the Birthday Card! However those Baby Blossoms are precious! I love the peeking owl, he’s in both cards but the centered flowers and leaves under the first cards sentiment is my fav!`my favorite DSP used here too!
