Hello my dear friends! This is my first post made for Inspired by Stamping for September and I used the most gorgeous new July released stamps Friends Forever

I made the background with multicolor ink and some script stamping and then stamped the main image of Lily of the Valley over the background. The coloring was made with distress markers and the sentiment was stamped with permanent black ink.  Actually this is one layer card, but this stamp over stamp technique gives it the texture. I also added a few buttons and pearls as extra embellishments.

Next up is Shan’s first card as a IBS designer! Whoo Hoo! And she created this gorgeous card that we are all swooning over. Here’s Shan with details!

Hello crafty friends. Its Shan here today to share with you a starburst card I made using one of the beautiful sentiment stamps in the Big notes in French stamp set. I absolutely love the big notes stamp sets as there is always a perfect sentiment for any occasion and they are all so elegant.

To create this card, I layered black and pink card stock then created the starburst pattern using papers from Bo Bunny. I then stamped the sentiment with memento black tuxedo ink. I then added some pink and black trim to the bottom of the starburst. To embellish the card I fussy cut a couple of butterflies out of the paper collection I used and bent the wings up to give it a bit of dimension.

That’s all for me today. I hope you enjoyed my card. Thanks for stopping by and have a beautiful day.

A special thank you to Irit and Shan for creating such gorgeous cards with us today. We hope you have a fantastic weekend. This weekend, I am personally heading out to go fishing with my hubby and kids. I am sure there will be some photo taking of our Father’s Day weekend on Instagram. Smile

Have a great weekend. We will be back Monday with the winner of our blog prize giveaway and inspirations from Vicki and Mynn!

With paper hugs, Joanna xxx

Beautiful cards! Beautiful stamps! Love how you made the background on the top card, and the heart buttons are a nice touch. Love the sunburst style of the second card. Fabulous inspiration – thank you! I really want to try the sunburst technique!
