Get ready to feel inspired to craft today! We are getting into the holiday spirit with handmade tags and an I love you card! Our talented designer Vicki has created a beautiful set of tags, perfect for all the gift wrapping and giving that we will be doing over the next few weeks. Next, Tina has created a beautiful “I love you” card featuring one of our most popular stamp sets Big Wishes II.
And now it is time for some holiday inspiration with these gorgeous tags created by Vicki! These beautiful tags would look amazing on a Christmas or Holiday present to a love one. They are full of Christmas charm, with lots of pretty embellishments and exquisite details! Here’s Vicki sharing how she made them.
“Hi everyone, its Vicki [All I Do Is Stamp] here! This is my set of tags that I am gifting to a co-worker. I enjoy giving these as gifts, and my co-workers are expecting them…
I used a few IBS stamp sets to make these. I started by stamping Backgrounds Basics 3 and Summer Postcard Add Ons and embossed in white. Using a dauber, I sponged on multi colors to make the images pop. I cut out my frame with Fancy Labels 2 die and stamped with a frame from Small Fancy Label 4 and a sentiment from Little Flowers. On a separate card stock, I stamped a ‘postcard’ from Summer Post Card Add On, cut it out, sponged to match the tag and pinned it to the Fabric Tape strip. I fussy cut out the bird from Vintage Pieces and attached. I added a snowflake and twig punches, tied a ribbon to the top and this tag was done. Make another 3 to match, and you have a gift set of tags.
To finish off my project, I decorated a glassine bag with Background Basics 3, a ‘postcard’ from Summer Postcard Add Ons and another strip of Fabric Tape.
That’s it for my December project — see you in a couple of weeks~”
We hope you found some inspiration today! A special thank you to the designers this week for creating with us. Don’t forget about our blog candy and leaving a comment for the great prize that is up for grabs this week. We will see you tomorrow! Hugs, Joanna
