Pretty Packaging

05 December

Are you searching for the perfect gift idea? Handmade gifts are such a wonderful way to make a friend or family member feel treasured and loved. Today, we are sharing with you three lovely packaging ideas that will get your creative mojo flowing! First, Kendra is sharing with us a gorgeous cookie topper idea that will leave you breathless. And I am back sharing two pretty boxes to give to your special someone. We encourage you to stop on over to our Facebook fan and check out all the great inspiration and fun there too!

And now it’s time to say hello to our very talented artist, Kendra. She is sharing with us how she created this adorable cookie topper. These are such a great idea for special packaging for friends, teachers and family.

“Hello IBS fans!  I am so excited to share my cookie topper with you today!

I am in LOVE with the new Just Because Sentiments set!  What a perfect set for just about any occasion!  Because I believe it’s always nice to give cards and gifts “Just Because”, sometimes!  Always makes that special someone feel even more special!

Recently I visited one of my friends and I know one of her major downfalls is my deluxe chocolate brownie cookies!!  So I had to make her some, and what better way to give them to her, than with a pretty topper!

I love the large “Just Because” sentiment and all the fun little sentiments that can be used along with it or even separately!

Here’s a look at the entire package (along with those yummy cookies!!)…

Have a lovely day!”

A look at the entire Just Because Sentiments set:

Our second set of pretty packaging today comes from myself. These elegant handmade crafts are so much fun to make and are sure to brighten the day of a friend or loved one! It’s also the perfect idea for a birthday gift!

The first little box I made was purchased from the Silhouette store for my Cameo. It is nice and tiny and was the perfect size for the little pair of earrings that I made for a friend. After gluing it together, I tied a hemp bow around the front of the box. I then decorated the top with IBS flowers, crochet trim and a Creative Tags stamp set.

My second box is this sweet gable box. Again, I purchased it from the Silhouette store. You all know how much I love my Cameo. LOL Smile I then decorated it with our Girl Birthday Bash Digital Paper and our Mixed Flowers. The tag and sentiment can both be found from our It’s Your Birthday Stamp Set.

Thank you so much for joining us today! A special thank you to the designers this week that have created such beautiful projects. We hope you will all come back and see us tomorrow for more blissful ideas and inspiration. We wish you all a very happy, crafty day!
