We are so excited to share these beautiful pillow boxes from Leah. She’s featuring our Background Basics III and Creative Tags stamp sets. Our Creative Tags set is so versatile with many different sentiments and styles of tags. Adding these tags will give your gifts to friends and loved ones a little extra personal touch from you. Here’s Leah sharing with us how she created her projects!

“I was invited to a Christmas Ladies Tea by my mom who is hosting one of the tables. We got to talking about our table centerpiece and I mentioned how nice and pretty it would be to have a little favor at each place setting. I was excited to make these little pillow boxes in our color scheme, white and silver with a neutral kraft base.  I pulled out a couple of my go-to Inspired by Stamping sets, Creative Tags and  Background Basics III. My mom loves how they turned out and so do I!

After using my Silhouette Cameo to cut out the pillow boxes I stamped each one using the music  notes background in kraft ink. I love how it gave the box some subtle texture.

I then cut the music notes tag using the free Silhouette cut file and stamped the tags using Versamark ink and sprinkled them with silver embossing powder on them and embossed. To finish I chose the “with love” sentiment and stamped it in kraft ink. I hope you enjoyed my project today. Have a blessed day! Leah”

Our second inspiration project is from our talented designer Irit. She creates the most beautiful 3D projects and continually leaves us inspired to see what her next one will be. Here is Irit sharing with us how she created her project.

Timeless wall deco

by Irit Shalom

“Hello my dear crafty friends! Irit is here with my first project for December. This art piece is my Mixed Media wall deco made with IBS stamps for December and I decided to make it in a real messy, full of paints MM style.

IBS stamps are the most versatile ones: also most of our DT members make cards; all of us try different art styles when it’s possible and here is my blank puzzle board made as a Timeless art deco.

After 2 whole years of being IBS design team member I have a lot of favorite stamp sets, but when it comes to vintage, I just make it the most favorite set ever and this Vintage pieces set just from the last month release is my most favorite one ever.

This piece of art was made over the blank kids puzzle, covered with masks, gesso, mists, paints and all possible mediums for the texture and the interest, but then I just STAMPED! And stamped and stamped and I really like the final rich result of this Mixed Media project.

Then I added a few huge flowers and some blings and this piece was done.

The great thing with this kind of projects is that there is no right or wrong way to make it. There are no mistakes! This is a free kind of art you can do in a totally imperfect style and all you need are our gorgeous IBS stamps!

I hope you like my use of IBS stamps for Mixed Media art and will try it too. Irit”

We hope you have enjoyed today’s projects!

Your pillow boxes and tags are so elegant and gracious. What a lovely addition to the table.

Irit’s project is a wonder! So unique and interesting. Love MM with lots of interesting things to look at. I haven’t seen puzzles used as a base very often, but this gives hers such a wistful look that fits perfectly with the other details.

I like how the pillowboxes turned out. I almost bought the die for that. Now I wish I had gotten it.
    Have a good day, Amy

The pillow boxes are darling. So cute and pretty for place settings. The ‘puzzle’ is absolutely amazing.

I really love the pillowboxes and media wall deco. I struggle with vintage and to see it done beautifully with the media wall deco, well the mind boggles.
