Inspired by Stamping Christmas Trees (2)

I am so excited to share with you my project! I have been wanting to make paper Christmas trees for awhile now and with the gorgeous WorldWin Paper, they turned out amazing!

Inspired by Stamping - Joanna Munster

To start, I created 3 different sized cones that I purchased from the Silhouette Store. I just have to mention that WorldWin paper has cut the best so far with my Silhouette machine. After cutting the white one, I stamped it using 4 stamp sets from our store, which are Winter Wonderland, Vintage Postcards Add On I, Elegant Christmas Sentiments and Ahoy, Matey!.

I wanted each Christmas tree to be soft and whimsy. To achieve this, after inking up my stamp, I first stamped it on scrap paper and then onto my cardstock. I love how I was still able to use Burgundy Red Ink and created this softer look then the boldness of this color.

These snowflakes are just amazing! I used Petallics® Snow Willow cardstock from WorldWin. These just sparkle and shine like they have been dusted with glitter but the best part is there wasn’t any mess. No glitter in my hair, face and well everywhere when I use glitter. Winking smile

Inspired by Stamping Christmas Box

This little box was cut out with the Silhouette Cameo. After cutting out the shapes, I again randomly stamped the images from the stamp sets mentioned above. This great tag was stamped from our Holiday Sentiments stamp set. I then sprinkled glitter all around it for a little more glam.

My second tree was created using World Win Original Colormates, Deep Racy Raspeberry. It is such a beautiful rich color. I stamped on it using silver and Versamark using Ahoy, Matey!, Christmas Cheer, Vintage Postcards Add On I, Winter Wonderland and Elegant Christmas Sentiments stamp sets.

After gluing my cone together, I added this silver string and glued these Inspired by Stamping flowers from our Mixed Flowers collection. I also added some large pearls.

Along the base of each Christmas tree, I added Inspired by Stamping Crochet Trim.

Here’s a close up of my box. Are you are looking for the last letter of the puzzle? My letter is “S”.

My smallest tree was again used with Petallics® Snow Willow cardstock. Here you can see how this paper just sparkles, like the snowflakes above.

After cutting out my cone, I stamped images from Christmas Cheer, Vintage Postcards AddOn I and Winter Wonderland stamp sets.

Here’s a beautiful close up of this beautiful paper. I tied little bows using IBS white seam binding ribbon and added square rhinestones to the center of each one. Around the bottom, I again used IBS crochet trim.

For the stars on each tree, I used Kromekote®Brushed Silver Foil Mirror Finish cardstock and then sprinkled glitter snow around the edges. I then glued these beautiful large flowers to the center.

One more photo, of the trees sitting on top of my kitchen counter. I love them. Super easy and a lot of fun to create. The hardest part was waiting for hubby to cut the dowels for me. LOL! I just glued them up at the top of the tree and then Brad created a little base that is inside the box. I think these will sit in my craft room all year round.

I hope that you have enjoyed my Christmas trees! Thank you for joining us today!

The designers have worked hard to produce all of these fantastic creations, and we would like to
invite you to leave some comments on their individual blogs as well.

Hi! I have had a difficult time trying to put a phrase together. I have been able to get “Holly”, “Adhesive”, “Holiday”, and “Elves”. My best guess is “Drink more Ovaltine”. (from A Christmas Story)

Thanks for the fun bloghop. Really love the Holiday Expressions stamp set.

I just loved this blog hop! The projects were all amazing and although I couldn’t leave a message on each one today, I bookmarked several to come back and visit. The papers used look fabulous and worked so well with IBS stamps and products. Seeing all these creations made me realise: I LOVE THE HOLIDAYS! I would love to win the prize this week, as I do love IBS stamps and dies…. just saying!

  16. Macarena says:

I guess I am the first one 🙂 This is strange but the secret word I completed is “ohleioyaldiveth”… I’ve had a great time hopping by 🙂

  17. Anna Jernigan says:

Wow, Joanna, what stunning trees, and yep, I am with you, they would proudly sit in MY craft room ALL year long! LOL
I just love that shimmer, and those little extra details you added to make each tree different, is brilliant! I’ve forgotten how lovely paper trees can be, and remember that they were a part of Christmas, back when…oops,,,LOL…I don’t want to age myself. LOL I thoroughly enjoyed this entire blog hop! I am so “into” the Holiday Spirit, now. TFS. My guess at the words formed by all those letters: love is the holiday…or…the holiday is love! If NOT, it should be, LOL. Happy Holidays!

  18. Karen Hawkins says:

I checked with the WorldWin Papers website, but they seem to be in America and only sell to authorised retailers…will your store be getting them, given you’ve done this collaboration?

  19. Judy Pollex says:

I love the holidays. And your papers, and all the inspirational and creative projects, and all you lovely designers. Now I’m ready to make Christmas stuff. Judy P.

  20. Karen Hawkins says:

Joanna, I cannot figure it out! OHLEIOYALDIVETHS… I come up with THE HOLY DIAO LIVES or something with HOLIDAY LIVES THE O…. stuck! Must need a better brain I think. Oh, and I left a comment for Leah that a lot of her links need fixing, in case you get asked.

On the bright side, your trees are gorgeous stunning just so cute, I love them so much! I would also leave them in my crafty room all year for inspiration and I have to go check out those papers. Thanks for the challenge anyway.

  21. Birgit says:

I didn’t realize when I commented that this was the last stop. I hope I can leave another comment finding that “LOVE THE HOLIDAYS” was the message… I hope…

  22. JennyH says:
